Hello Fall in Free People Fringe

Hello fall, is that actually you?! I think the fall weather is here to stay and that makes me so excited. I love fall, I love cooler weather, layering cute clothing and feeling cozy. I love all things that come along with fall like apple and pumpkin picking, day trips to the farm, all the hearty fall meals I get to cook and of course pumpkin spiced lattes!

A neutral look is always a favorite of mine and this Free People top might be one of my favorite purchases of the season. I have received so many compliments, every time I wear it.  If you've been reading along you may have noticed I love the distressed hem jean and I love it even more over these suede booties! I can't forget to mention my grey felted hat, because I believe a grey felted hat completes my fall wardrobe.

The Utility Jacket

A great piece for the fall is a utility jacket - this olive, army color green is a perfect addition to my closet. It's light weight and unlined which makes for a great layering piece now that the weather has started to get cooler.  I linked some of my favorite utility jackets below for you to shop!

Loft's Perfect Pink Mockneck Sweater

Hello readers and hello fall!

It's officially the First day of Fall but it does not feel like anything close to fall weather on the East Coast can you believe it's been 85 degrees!

When I got my hands on this mockneck sweater from the LOFT, I knew this would be the perfect sweater for transitioning into cooler days. Warm days lead into chilly nights making this sweater an essential! This look was perfect for my early morning in town! I paired the sweater with my favorite denim skirt from the loft and a new pair of brown booties to tie in the look.

Wondering Warwick with Rosewholesale

Hello all!

As I write this I'm over flowing with excitement as I look through these pictures on this post. I've recently been MIA, as Chris and I just made a major change in our lives! We moved up to Warwick, NY to stay with family while we house hunt!  I didn't know how I would adjust to the change, but I am actually loving it.

Right after we moved, the first thing I set out to do was find a local photographer that I could shoot with for the blog. I stumbled upon Cassondre Mae and boy was it the best find I have ever come across, I mean these photos are amazing!! I absolutely love shooting with her, I love way she works with me and I love way the pictures turned out. I'm so excited to be working with her while we are living up here in Warwick and excited for whats to come. If you are local you have to check her out! Click here to view her work.

The weather is finally starting to change to fall, slowly but surely.  I'm excited that I am incorporating more and more fall pieces in my recent posts, to be honest, I am over the super hot heat. I received this top from Rosewholesale and I love it.  The layered and cut out look really make this top stand out. The best part is that it's under $10!! YES! $10.

I love Warwick, NY and exploring this perfect little town. I can't wait to share my fall fashion and journey with you all!

Thanks for all the continued love and support.

Falling for stripes

There's nothing like the transition from summer to fall and when you find the perfect pieces it makes it that much better!

Fall is all about chilly mornings and nights,  and this particular cool summer night  was spent at Pier 13 in Hoboken, New Jersey  - This was a summer go to spot for me. Picnic tables and lawn chairs line the turf covered pier that over looks one of the best views, NEW YORK CITY.  My drink of choice, the ever so refreshing White Girl Sparkling Rosè! For those of you have not tried it, it's delicious, a go to for me. One of my favorite things about Pier 13 is trying the different array of food trucks so, to satisfy my sweet tooth a delicious strawberry shortcake milk shake from Carnivale. Did you see that thing? A stuffed donut atop a milk shake - Yes, it was as good as it looks! Boy I sure will miss spending the summer at the pier now that we have left Hoboken.

This Express Portofino Shirt is a key piece for transitioning from summer to fall. Not only is it light weight which makes for a perfect layering piece, the colored stripes are perfect! A favorite of mine this season is the frayed hem ankle jean, It's all about the distressed yet put together look.  I'm all about comfort, especially with a toddler boy on the lose and I'm loving the new shoe craze, the crush back loafer.  I picked a pair up from Aldo in this pretty tan leather which completed this look.

Looks like this, get me super excited for fall being around the corner, I can't wait to share more!
