Thanksgiving just one week away, which by the way, is one of my favorite holiday's! Thanksgiving is the kick off to the holiday season. We go pretty big in our family (chris' family) Growing up our holidays were pretty small, just me, my mom and dad and occasionally we would see my cousins. I always knew that when I grew older and started my own family I would want to have big holiday's. Holidays where the whole family gathers, everyone's laughing and we are enjoying delicious food, drinking into the wee hours and making memories for last a light time. I am so thankful I get to be a part of a big family that does that, I really love it! 

Everyone celebrates thanksgiving differently, some opt for a more relaxed day, cozied up watching sports, some for a more dressed up party and some in between. I think ours is a little in between! I like to keep it casually dressed on thanksgiving. The morning I'll typically wear jeans and a plaid button down, while we are prepping in the kitchen all day. But then I like to throw on either a dress with booties or sweater dress right before everyone arrives.

It's that time of year again, rounding up the whole family for the dreaded holiday pictures! Sure we take lots of pictures in our family but I've got to say, it doesn't get easier. Especially holiday photos, which I tend to stress out over. Bungalow Hotel : A Night On The Jersey Shore

Having grown up in New Jersey, spending my summers on the Jersey Shore, I was excited for a little staycation at one of my favorite beach towns, Long Branch.  It was my best friends birthday and since we both have busy schedules and barely get to see each other, we decided little get away was needed.  We stayed at Bungalow Hotel, this Jersey Shore Boutique hotel was the perfect spot for our girls get away.

Hey guys! So I sure am beat from this weekend. We had a great one with lots of fall activities including pumpkin picking, lots of apples and the local apple festival,  pumpkin carving and great fall weather!  I seriously LOVE the fall and I swear, I am not saying that to be "basic" I really do! The weather is the best, the activities are the best and the food is hands down my favorite!

I did a big Fall haul for Cameron last week and wanted to share it here with you all. I absolutely love dressing Cameron in the chillier months. I love layering and dressing him in cute joggers, sweaters and fun sneakers. My go to places to shop for Cameron are Old Navy, Nordstrom and H&M. Cameron is two and a half and he`s at the age where he`s getting food all over his clothes during dinner and getting muddy at the playground. I try to avoid spending a lot of money on his clothes (unless something is super cute) Both H&M and Old Navy are the perfect place to find affordable clothes and they always have great sales.

Dark Florals & Leather

This fall is all about dark florals and leather! When shopping, I am always drawn to bright airy colors and neutrals, white, grey & blush! It's very rare that I buy something dark to add into my wardrobe. That is until now, of course.. I've started and I just can't stop.

Fall is for Windowpane

One of my favorite trends this fall is the windowpane print. I've been seeing it everywhere and I've been really drawn to it. In my opinion the windowpane print is the classier take on the plaid print.
