Lauren has this great ability of capturing us in the moment, that is always what has drawn me to her work. There was no question in my mind that when it was my time to pick a wedding photographer, it would be her! We decided to wait for nicer weather to do our engagement pictures, since we got engaged in February. I knew I wanted them to be outdoors, woodsy, maybe some water and a nice sunset and we got it all !
We started the first part of our shoot in the woods and I love the whimsical feel of these! We in a sense were playing in the field and Lauren was capturing us.
From the woods we made our way down to the lake just in time to catch the sunset. Cameron got to play along the water, while Lauren took some pictures of me and Chris. We popped a bottle of champagne, danced and fell drunk in love ! This set is my absolute favorite .
