Bedroom refresh

With the start of the new year, I knew I wanted to finish out bedroom. It's been something that has been put on the backburner and with a few finishing touches it's finally done. Click to read more.

We redid our master bedroom last year with Raymour and Flanigan - All of the furniture you see in the room is from there, with the exception of the mirror.  After we moved back in May, I knew I wanted to add new art over the bed. I was on the hunt for months to find the perfect piece. To be honest, I was having a hard time finding something that I really liked. I think what was throwing me off was the busy rug, if I got art, I would have to be something in the color scheme of the rug and subtle. I came across these frames I had in my storage room and thought they would look really nice in the room. The grey wood frames match the colors in the rug  perfectly and I decided to do black and white photos from the wedding.  I love the photos I went with for the frames, I think they show our love in a unique way. One is a moment our photographer caught while we were holding hands during the cocktail hour and its just a detailed shot and you can see chris' wedding band. The other one I love, its just of us kissing <3 and the last one is us walking away, which to me it's like we are walking into our future. So happy with the way  they turned out and they really complete OUR room.

For the most part, our bedroom is very minimal. I wanted our bed frame to be the standout piece and It's still one of my favorite pieces in my house. It's so beautiful and the color is just so rich . We purchased through Raymour and Flanigan , however, it's not available anymore. I was able to find it for you guys elsewhere!  Look below for all the details to the items in the room .

Our bedding, I kept all white, I think it brightens up the room and gives a fresh feel. I added texture with the different macrame throw pillows.  I added a big mirror, which I have been on the hunt for and I think it completes the room.
