Working from home : Our new home office with Raymour & Flanigan

Working from home : Our new home office with Raymour & Flanigan

Last year when we bought our home, many things changed for us with the pandemic. My husband, who works in sales, was now having to working from home. It was very important and a top priority for us to create a good work from home environment for him.  Enter, project home office with Raymour & Flanigan! We wanted to create a space that was not only work appropriate but also functional. A space that we could work, get comfy and creative. There's days that he spends hours working in this office so I wanted to create a sense of comfort for him. If he needs to get up and lay down on the couch with a book in hand he can. The great thing about this couch and we knew it was a feature we needed to add was the pull out couch! With a baby on the way we are running out of space for guests. We thought adding an extra sleep space here would be great for when we have company over! I know a lot of us are currently working from home and having to sacrifice space to add in a functioning office. The great thing about adding a sleeper sofa  to your home office is you don't have to sacrifice a guest room for an office, you can have both!  I wanted to make sure to make sure to keep the style of the house flowing into the office. A lot of time when you think of an office, a cold, space comes to mind. I made sure to pick warm tones in this space and the most important piece was with this desk . I chose the desk first and worked my way around it . I love the color of the wood which really kept the style of the natural wood in the office.  I added this fabric swivel desk chair to go with the wood desk . Not only is it functional but it is aesthetically pleasing and we didn't have to give up on style to have a nice desk chair. We are so happy with the way this space turned out in the end. Now we can work from home and also have an extra space to for guest to sleep.
