Home Make Over With Raymour & Flanigan

I was sitting in our new place when one day I looked around at our living room furniture and thought, this furniture and style is so not me anymore. I then looking into our dining space and thought the same thing! Chris thought I was crazy, but I told him to trust me and let me update things a little bit.

When I started to think about who I wanted to work with, Raymour & Flanigan was an easy choice. R&F has always been a go to for me when buying mattresses and furniture. These days, everything is available to be ordered online. The one thing I love about Raymour & Flanigan is that you can visit and show room, shop the show room and see what it is that you are getting.  I can't tell you how many times I've ordered something online and when it arrived it was a  different color, the comfort level wasn't good or the product was different than described. Buying furniture for you home is a big deal and you want to make sure you know what you are getting.

A month ago, we got to visit our local Raymour & Flanigan show room. If you live in North Jersey, I highly recommend visiting the Kinnelon location, the team there is amazing!  Upon arrival we were greated by Kelly, who helped us every step of the way. Going into the show room, I had a vision, I even made up a vision board with my favorite finds from the online catalog. We knew we were going in to pick a coffee table, tv console, lamp & chair to complete our living space. What we didn't expect was to leave with a dining table, which really completed the whole space!  I showed Kelly my vision board and we talked a little bit about my style. Chris and I, sort of have different styles when it comes to home decor but Kelly did a great job listening to what each of us liked and helped us come to an agreement. I got the lamp I really wanted and Chris got the console table he wanted.  I would say, we mixed rustic with mid century modern and I think it flows great.

After leaving the showroom, I was in constant contact with the team, someone would give me a call every few days, updated me, when my pieces would arrive. We did have some custom pieces so the who delivery come in about 2/3 weeks.  The day of the delivery, it was down pouring, I mean torrential down pour. I felt so bad for the guys delivering the pieces, but they were not phased and they were in an out. Two guys, delivered our console table, coffee table, leather accent chair, dining table along with six chairs and two bar stools. Everything was assembled upon the delivery except for the dining table, they had to screw the top to the legs. I was only responsible for putting together the lamp, which took just a few short steps. The guys worked so quick, they were in an out within 30 mins. This is another great thing about Raymour and Flanigan, you get free home delivery and you don't have to lift a finger! That's a big selling point for me. I can't tell you how many times, I assembled furniture only to find that when I'm done, I ended up assembling it the wrong way! 

I am so happy with the way everything turned out and really complete the vision that I was going for. The quality and the design of the pieces that I chose are amazing, which is everything you would want when building a home!
