It's Valentine's Day week! I love sappy holidays, especially one that is dedicated to love! I can tell that Cameron is totally following in my foot steps, he loves the holidays! He was so excited to do something special for Valentine's day. When we took a trip to Indigo at The Mall at Short Hills, we made sure to stock up on V-day goodies for all the special people in our lives.
Indigo, just opened its first US location here in Short Hills, at The Mall at Short Hills. I couldn't wait to check out all this this store had to offer! A cultural department store, whose aisles are filled with books, stationery, home decor, mugs, candles etc. there's just about everything for EVERYONE! Cameron and I were excited to pick up some things for Valentine's day. We spent the morning wandering the aisles trying to decide what we wanted to get the special people in our lives. Cameron had several suggestions, " daddy would love this book about football " , "mimi would love this mug" . There were so many things we wanted to get, I'm telling you, I had a hard time controlling myself.
After spending some time deciding, we ended up picking up special Valentine's day cards for just about everyone in our family! The stationery section at Indigo is amazing !! There are several aisles and cards for ever occasion. The best thing about the cards which we loved, was how fitting and different they were. We made sure to pick cards up that really spoke to us!
We spent the afternoon cozied up on the couch, snuggling, laughing eating chocolates and writing special cards to those that we love. We both had such a great time and these moments I will always cherish and I can't wait for those around us to receive these special notes from us!
This was just the perfect thing to do for Valentine's day !
