Indigo at The Mall at Short Hills

Just making it's way to the US , with its first location right here at The Mall at Short Hills is Canadian based cultural department store, Indigo.  In this department store, you can find everything from books, to gifts to toys, It's your one stop shop for just about anything. Cameron and I made our way to Indigo to pick up some things for Valentines day!

We spent our morning wandering the aisles of this gigantic department store. The way that Indigo is set up, they have sections in the store that are dedicated to specific themes. There is a section that is all home where you can find, throw pillows, candles, blankets and books about home decor. Next you make your way into the "kitchen" I loved this area. Here you will find all things for the cook in the family, tons and tons of cook books, cute little cooking gifts ( plates, wine glasses with cute tag lines) everything you need to throw up fun dinner party! I was seriously controlling myself in this section, I wanted just about everything! The store has several wellness sections, one dedicated to woman and pampering, here you can find, cozy reading socks, scarves, bags & there is one section focused on energy and well being. Another great section is the stationary which was another favorite of mine! Cameron and I found so many Valentines cards for our friends and family and spent a good 20 mins laughing at some of the selections that they had. From stationery, we made our way into Cameron's favorite section, can you guess? Indigo-Kids! This section was amazing, all things kid! They have everything from books, crafts to a big toy selection.  They have kid size tables with chairs for crafts and reading and interactive play around the store, like a Lego® bin and wooden car. It was hard to get Cameron to leave.

This is the perfect spot to come and spend your morning or afternoon. Set up a play date and enjoy your time reading books in the kids section and then make your way for snacks and coffee at the cafe. I wasn't lying when I said this is a one stop shop!

Indigo also offers events and classes for everyone. kids story time to cooking demonstrations that will take place in the "kitchen" area, which has a countertop and sink .

This store really has so much to offer and I am so glad the first location is right here! We already can't wait to get back and spend some time shopping and playing!

* Thank you to indigo for sponsoring this post, however, all thoughts are my own.
