Casual look & Life Update

Talking about some new purchases I've made that I'm loving and sharing a little life update.

AE Mom Jeans | UO sweater  | Brixton Fisherman Hat
Banana Republic Booties | Ray Ban Sunglasses (similar under $60)

Happy Tuesdays .  After a quiet week over here on the blog, it feels good to be back! I'm really excited to share this photo set with you guys that Chris and I shot over the weekend. Which by the way, I have to applaud him, I love the way he shot these photos.  My girlfriend, Danielle (Pineapple and Prosecco) Messaged our text chat and informed all of us about the best under $50 mom jeans! I literally couldn't resist!! They actually come in a few different styles, I opted for the light wash, no rips denim! I love the style of these and for $39 I ended up snagging two pairs. I got one a size 2, regular length and then a size 0 short - to rock two different ways. They're also available in a darker wash and distressed version for $49. You need this jean!  I also have to point out this fisherman hat I just picked up this week which I am loving. I've really been into this style and when I saw this dark denim version, I had to have it! I can't wait to style it this weekend for my girls city day!

A little life update: This past week was a little rough in our house hold. Cameron woke up with a fever on Wednesday and not really feeling too good and came down with the flu! The first two days were a bit rough but he got medicine and started to feel so much better within the first 12 hours.  Sunday was suppose to be his birthday party but we had to cancel it since he came down with the flu! (It broke my heart because he's really been looking forward to it! ) We tried to make it up to him, Saturday we took him out for pizza and sunday we got special pancakes. Yesterday was his actual birthday - he ended up going back to school, had a little party at school, then we went out to dinner and I made him a special rainbow birthday cake which he loved! I'm currently try to figure out if I can reschedule Cameron's birthday party or if we are going to take him somewhere special like an indoor water park instead.  So besides that, we are taking this week slow since Cameron is still on the mend. This weekend, I'm meeting my girls in the city for a blogger brunch and some fun! (looking forward to some girl time). Thats about it for now.
